Teen Arts 2015

With only three and a half months to produce the event, our team handled event logistics, booked master class and workshop leaders, and handled school relations and registration. The end result...the event went off without a hitch and we increased participation by 140%! Amazing? Maybe. Routine? It's what we do!

The Mercer County Teen Arts Festival is held on the campus of Mercer County Community College. The event is open to all Mercer County public, private, parochial and home school students in middle and high school. Students participate in performance seminars, critiquing sessions, master classes and workshops in media and visual art, dance, drama, vocal and instrumental music, film and creative writing.

myStory“In listening to the stories my grandfather and father used to tell, I realized that most everyone had a story.  By giving people, the festival’s potential attendees, a chance to share their stories, we could not only help them preserve their family memories, we could also add value to our media partner, increase credibility of the festival as a cultural event, drive people to the festival website, and generally increase awareness of the festival” noted Second Story Productions president Barry Chiorello.

The Pinnacle Awards competition draws entries from among the world’s top festivals and events.  Winning entries came from organizations as diverse as the Cherry Creek Arts Festival in Denver, CO; the Kentucky Derby Festival in Louisville, KY; Baekje Cultural Festival in South Korea; the Ludwig Van Beethoven Easter Festival in Krakow, Poland; and Rotterdam Festivals in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

The International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA) is the premiere trade association for festival & event professionals worldwide.  In partnership with global affiliates, the association offers a complete source of information and education for the festivals and events industry.
